How the Security Bond Model Works

PardnaFi Team1 min read

A security bond is one proposed approach to missed contributions. It is not established here as available functionality and cannot guarantee repayment or remove a provider's liability.

Any bond arrangement needs its own contractual, financial and legal assessment. A missed contribution can still create losses or a shortfall.

Questions to resolve before any live use

  1. Agree whether a bond is appropriate and how it would be funded and held.
  2. Assess whether any bond could be applied lawfully and whether its value would be sufficient.
  3. Agree how delays, defaults and possible shortfalls would be handled.
  4. Document responsibilities and member disclosures; no transfer of financial risk is promised.
